How Does Destructive Tensile Testing Work?

Tensile testing is crucial for determining the mechanical properties of a material. During the test, the specimen is subjected to a progressive load until it breaks, measuring key parameters such as:

Software for real-time analysis of the Metrocom

Thanks to the integrated software, the data is processed in real time and displayed on a high-resolution display. The information is expressed in load/elongation and load/strain diagrams, allowing a detailed analysis of the performance of the tested component. In addition, the results are stored to certify products and calculate meaningful statistical values.
